Friday Night Group

A fun, social gathering for LGBTQ+ and questioning youth 13-19.

Friday Night Group (FNG) is a great way for you to find your people! It’s a social and support group for LGBTQ+ and questioning youth ages 13-19. Thanks to community partners and a local pizza place (or four), dinner is provided at Friday Night Group. (Ask us about vegan options.)

Themed Super Social FNGs add a little sparkle to the regular meetups, like Halloween costume extravaganzas and the occasional open mic night!

FNG has met every week since Outright began in 1989 - holidays and snow days included. All youth should have the opportunity to be among friends - and to be seen and celebrated for being your amazing self!

Gender Creative Kids

Gender Creative Kids is a monthly meetup for youth 12 and under and their families and adult caregivers. 

Gender creative kids may be trans, nonbinary, gender expansive, fluid, or questioning - if you feel this space could be right for your family, you are welcome at this joyful monthly gathering! Whole families are invited - parents, caregivers, and siblings included - to build community and a sense of belonging.

When and where

Second Sunday of each month from 2-4pm. The location varies, so get in touch ahead of attending.

Tween Group

Tween Group is a youth-only space designed just for queer and gender creative youth ages 10 - 12! With a mix of open social time and engaging youth-led activities, there's space for both spontaneous fun and intentional connection.

Tween Group is FREE to attend, and snacks are provided. There's no need to sign up in advance, just come on in!

This new program creates even more ways for youth 12 and under to connect, grow, and thrive together!

When and where

Tween Group meets at Outright's Burlington youth space, located at 241 N Winooski Avenue.

• 1st Thursdays of each month from 4:00 - 6:00 pm

• 3rd Sundays of each month from 2:00 - 4:00 pm

Regional Pop-Ups

Outright hosts fun and exciting pop-up programming around the state, so youth everywhere can experience belonging and queer joy! Join us in a town near you for a movie night, dance party, or get-together - let's build community and have a gay ol' time!
