Trans Lifeline is a suicide prevention helpline for trans people, staffed by trans people. You can call even if you’re not in crisis or if you’re not sure if you’re trans! They also have a friends and family line for folks supporting a trans loved one. Trans Lifeline does not use nonconsensual intervention.
Crisis Text Line will connect you with a crisis counselor for free 24/7 support. You’ll get an automated text response first, and then a response from a crisis counselor. Crisis counselors will respond within 5 minutes through a secure platform. They will work with you until you are cool and calm and have a positive plan for next steps.
LGBT Hotline operates a series of phone lines and online peer support chatrooms where LGBTQ+ and questioning people of all ages can receive free & confidential peer support, information, and local resources through national hotlines and online programs.
SafeSpace Anti-Violence Program advocates are available Monday-Thursday 10am-6pm, Friday 10am-2pm. May be impacted by Pride Center of Vermont hours.
Through direct service advocacy, education, and community support, the SafeSpace Anti-Violence Program provides comprehensive services to support LGBTQ+ survivors of hate, bias, harassment, discrimination, abuse, intimate partner violence, stalking, trafficking, sexual assault, and other systemic and community harms.

The Vermont Diversity Health Project (VDHP) is a searchable database that exists to help patients identify safe, affirming, supportive, and effective healthcare providers. Outright Vermont and Pride Center of Vermont work together to maintain the VDHP.
The Transgender Youth Program at the University of Vermont Medical Center provides transgender young people and their families with case management, support, resources, and referrals in a comfortable and affirming setting.

Vermont Health Connect has tips for trans people applying for health insurance. VT Health Connect is Vermont's health insurance marketplace, where you can compare health plans, enroll in a plan, and get financial assistance.
Safe Harbor Vermont provides a variety of healthcare services including medical and mental health/psychiatry at no-cost for adults and families in Vermont experiencing homelessness. Individuals who are staying in an emergency shelter, on the street, camping out, or even staying temporarily with a friend may be eligible for services through the Homeless Healthcare Program.
