St. Johnsbury Regional Youth Power Day

At Regional Youth Power Days, Outright Vermont invites youth to collaborate as changemakers and movement organizers. Regional Youth Power Days are a tool for LGBTQ+ and allied youth located near each other to develop their community organizing skills and experience the power of queer joy!

The second-ever Regional Youth Power Day will be held at an accessible location in St. Johnsbury, VT on February 17, 2024. All LGBTQ+ and allied youth 13-19 in and around St. Johnsbury are invited to join for food, connection, and organizing for change!

Registration is due Friday, February 9, 2024. Don't wait!

Youth aren’t involved in most decisions made about them, from their personal lives to policies and laws that govern their lived experiences. In our rural state, isolation runs deep, separating youth from each other, and restricting their access to information and resources. It’s hard to make change alone. We know that LGBTQ+ youth are the experts in their own lives, with unique insights and experience to lead change. Together we can imagine and build a Vermont where all LGBTQ+ youth have hope, equity, and power. Heck yeah!
