David Glidden

Youth Programs Coordinator — he/him

As the Youth Programs Coordinator, David trains and supports volunteers and facilitators, coordinates with the community partners who make groups possible, and plans activities so that programs foster peer connection and support — so participants get to relax and be who they are.

David is the attentive host at the big queer party that is Outright! He makes thoughtful introductions and coordinates a safe, warm, and welcoming environment so youth and families throughout the state can access peers, resources, and support.

As a teen, David found Outright’s annual events, like the GSA Conference and Leadership Day, to be a great way to build connections across the whole state. While earning a BA in Political Science, David ran the LGBTQ+ student organization at Wells College for three years, collaborating with other organizations on major campus-wide events. After graduating, he worked on political campaigns where he trained volunteers and crafted messaging. These experiences serve him well as a networker and organizer extraordinaire!

David is very indecisive when it comes to hobbies, and because of this, he is happy to talk to you about pretty much anything! He currently keeps nano fish tanks, grows Dahlias, collects scarves, and is learning about the surprisingly complicated world of formal menswear.
