Youth To The Front: Celebration at The Alchemist
We’re excited to open up Youth to the Front: Showcasing Youth Organizing & Celebrating Supporters to the whole Outright community, and we’d love for you to join us!
On Tuesday, September 22 at 6:00 pm, we’ll gather at The Alchemist in Stowe for an evening of great food, music, drinks, and youth storytelling.
All ages and identities are welcome. This is a FRIENDraiser, not a fundraiser, so there’s no cost to attend!
And there’s something extra special about this gathering: you’ll be among the very first people to hear episodes of Transmission of Truth, our new youth-led podcast about the lived experiences of transgender Vermonters. Created by young people and shaped through conversations with youth leaders, policymakers, advocates, and community members, these stories explore identity, belonging, and the power of sharing our truths.
You’ll also hear directly from the young people at the heart of Outright’s Youth Organizer program, paid interns ages 13–19 who are building organizing skills, running their own campaigns, and creating change in their schools and communities.
This year alone, 10 Youth Organizers designed and facilitated Leadership Day at the State House, testified before the House and Senate Education Committees, and organized their own press conference to elevate youth perspectives on Vermont’s education system.
Join us this Tuesday, September 22 to witness their brilliance and celebrate their accomplishments!
We’ve got a little more room than we expected, so we’re inviting the broader Outright community to celebrate alongside these young leaders. Whether you’re a longtime supporter, a family member, a community partner, or simply someone who believes in LGBTQ+ youth, we’d love to see you there.

Where: The Alchemist, 100 Cottage Club Road, Stowe, VT 05672What to expect: We'll have delicious light fare, complimentary drink tickets donated by our amazing hosts at The Alchemist, plenty of non-alcoholic beverages, and a room full of like-minded people who believe in the power of youth.
What to wear: Dress to impress yourself. Fancy or casual, just be you!
Accessibility: The Alchemist is fully ADA accessible.
Safety: We keep each other safe in community. Please make sure you're healthy. If you're not feeling well, please don't attend.
