Parent & Caregiver Dinner

Calling all parents and caregivers of trans, nonbinary, gender creative, and LGBTQ+ youth:

You’re invited to Outright’s Parent & Caregiver Dinner on Saturday, November 7, 2026!

This event is for parents and caregivers to build community and enjoy a delicious meal together here at Outright. Youth and other family members are also welcome!

• Where: Outright Vermont, 241 N. Winooski Ave, Burlington, VT 05401

• When: Saturday, November 7, 2026 from 5:00 - 7:30 pm

Throughout the event, there will be delicious food and drinks served, a craft table open for youth and anyone who wants to make crafts, and plenty of time to connect with fellow parents and caregivers. 

Plus, you’ll have an opportunity to hear the newly released Family episode of Transmission of Truth, Outright’s youth-led podcast! Transmission of Truth is a window into the lived experiences of transgender Vermonters, with their own voices at the center. This episode includes powerful stories from the hearts of Vermont families, with a message of love and hope at the forefront.

About the Menu: 

Outright will provide a delicious catered dinner and drinks! If you want to bring a dish to share, feel free to bring a dessert for our dessert potluck. Again, this is completely optional! There will be plenty of food for everyone.

About the Schedule:

• 5:00 - 5:30 pm - Optional masked meet & greet (note: face masks are required for this half-hour, to make this event accessible for our immune-compromised loved ones! We'll provide masks at the door or you can BYO face mask.

• 5:30 - 7:30 pm - Catered dinner, followed by a dessert potluck!
