NEW Paid Leadership Opportunity for Washington County Youth: Outfront Educators! Applications open now through Friday, October 23!

Heck Yeah Quilt & Craft Party

We know you have big love for queer and trans youth in our community - so come on in and share it! Heck Yeah, let’s make some art together!

Heck Yeahs are notes of support and affirmation meant to uplift LGBTQ+ youth and show them they belong in our community. At this special Heck Yeah party, our friend Izzy Reilly from Riot Craft Studio will be coming to run a Heck Yeah Quilt station, where folks can make Heck Yeahs to be included in a Heck Yeah quilt that will be gifted to Outright for youth to enjoy for years to come. No quilting or craft experience is necessary, and youth and adults of all identities are invited to come together, build community, and create messages of affirmation for queer and trans youth!

Stop by anytime during the party—stay for a few minutes or a few hours. We’ll have snacks, music, and all the supplies you need to write or draw notes that remind LGBTQ+ youth they are valued, powerful, and not alone.

Write a note to a young person who needs encouragement. Draw something that makes someone smile. Bring a friend - or make a new one while you’re here. Every message you create will help build a stronger, more connected community where youth can show up as their full selves.

Together, we can create a space filled with joy, connection, and care. Heck yeah!

Want to host a Heck Yeah party of your own for queer youth in your church, community center, library, or organization? Let Outright help you host your own Heck Yeah party!
