I wanted to join Outright because I want to be able to make a positive difference in my community and be able to make it so myself and others will have lots of opportunities to experience queer joy. I also wanted to build my leadership skills to bring back to my school community as well as meet like minded people with similar goals.

I hope to learn lots and build my knowledge on planning and leading events and teams. I also hope to build up my school's GSA to make it better and have more activities as well as planning other events for my community. I really want to make it so the LGBTQ+ community is seen and heard and feel safe to live their lives while having fun. 

Our liberated future must include:

• a safe space and equal rights for everyone regardless of race, gender or sexuality

• a strong community that helps each other when in need and works together to solve problems
