When I lived in Virginia there weren't any queer safe spaces/GSAs near me. So when I moved here and learned about Gender Creative Kids, Friday Night Group, and all the other wonderful things that Outright does I was so happy with all the cool people I met and all the fun things I got to do. But still there are still people out there in Vermont without a support group so I feel like it is very critical to introduce those kids to this amazing organization and help them express themselves.

I hope to introduce kids in more rural areas that might not have a support system to Outright. I also want to help strengthen the existing GSAs and support groups in our larger communities like Burlington. I hope to organize events across the state that will help youth be introduced to queer joy.

Our liberated future must include: 
1. Acceptance of all people no matter our differences, and freedom from discrimination.

2. Peace: both inner peace inside of each person, and a world free from needless war and conflict.
