I decided to become a youth organizer because I see a lot of youth getting bullied in my school for being LGBTQ+ or made feel not welcome because they were LGBTQ+. I also have personally been made feel out of place or not welcome because I was Black. I also wanted to join because organizing events will help me connect with other youth and make meaningful change.

What I want to do as Youth Organizer this year is to make sure LGBTQ+ youth feel seen supported and welcome especially for youth who don't get that support at home. I also joined so I can strengthen my leadership skills and communication skills and to help create meaningful change in the community. I also think it's a great way to create relationships with other youth and interact with new people.

I think our liberated future should include:

- Justice
- Sustainability
