I’ve decided to become a returning youth organizer this year because I wanted to make sure I’m in a strong community during this time in our world. It wasn’t a hard decision, knowing I’m going to be surrounded by really strong advocates and genuine support.

This year, I hope I can do something with restorative justice, or provide more education on what diversity, equity, and inclusion should look like in Vermont. 

Three things our liberated future must include: 

• cultural freedom
• communities without fear
• solidarity
