Arsahd Hasan, Oscar award winning ORVT Board Member!

Each February, Outright Vermont hosts the annual “Out for the Oscars” – an event held on the night of the Academy Awards – where community members are invited to submit Oscar ballots to win prizes.

In 2012, this event was a huge success with over 100 people attending, dressed to impress or even in costume of their favorite flick.  The event raised $2,500, which will go to support the general operating costs for Outright Vermont’s queer youth space in Burlington.

ABC announced that the 85th Academy Awards will air on Sunday, Feb. 24, 2013. The nominations will be announced on Tuesday, Jan. 15. Save the date!
