Our Staff
Adam Gregory Catanzarite, Youth Coordinator
Born and raised in the bread-basket, Adam made their way to Vermont to plant new roots after receiving zes B.A. in Communications & Culture from Indiana University. Ze has served as an AmeriCorps VISTA, worked as an instructor with The Upward Bound Project and has been an animal/human rights advocate for several years. Some of Adam’s roles at Outright are to oversee Friday Night Group programming (for Burlington, Rutland, and Montpelier — with hopes of expanding this service to new parts of the state), put together Camp Outright (with the help of many wonderful folks) and help facilitate The SASS Academy. Adam will also be working on finding new and creative ideas for programming with youth in the space – so if you have ideas that you’d like to see, you should absolutely contact them! If you find them biking about town or strolling through the farmers market be sure to say hello.

Saben Littlefield, Education & Statewide Field Manager
Saben is working as the Education & Statewide Field Manager with Outright. Saben’s work involves reaching out to GSAs statewide (to provide guidance and support), working collaboratively with schools to build new GSAs, and provide anti-bullying presentations in middle schools, high schools, colleges, and community settings around the state. Saben’s background is in youth services as a Residence Director at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC). Saben has been with Outright since the end of August, 2009 and when not at work, you’ll likely find him out and about town with his pup — walking, biking, hiking, or hanging at the dog-park. Llu Mulvaney-Stanak, Director of Development
Llu is a fierce, gender-queer, life-long Vermonter who grew up in Barre City, received a BS in Mass Media from Castleton State, and a Masters degree from UVM in Education. In 2002, Llu joined the Outright Vermont staff for the first time, as a Program
Director, providing support to volunteers, running HIV/AIDS prevention programming, and planning big queer youth events like Youth Pride/Prom. Over the next five years, Llu rose through the staff ranks, becoming Outright’s youngest Co-Director at age 22 and then sole Executive Director a few years later. Llu left Outright in 2007 to pursue a job at UVM’s Student Life office and a graduate degree. With a deep passion for social justice, equity and creating queer space, Llu has worn many hats professionally and personally across the state: “DJ Llu” on the radio and for many a queer dance party; a co-founder of the drag crew Kings Local 802; and queer activist work on issues ranging from anti-racism, dismantling cross-lateral oppression, lobbying for firm anti-bully laws, claiming queer space, and celebrating the queer community in Vermont. Llu is honored and super excited to return to Outright Vermont as the Development Director and looks forward to helping to build a strong network of support among Vermonters far and wide.
