Greetings. I hope you are enjoying springtime. We have been very busy this past month. The KeyBank Vermont City Marathon and Pre-Marathon Pasta Dinner were amazingly successful. Thanks to everyone that ran, donated, acted as cheerleaders, and attended the pasta dinner. Special thanks to Outright Board member Christy Pilsucki for spearheading this effort.

A big thank you to the Green Mountain Derby Dames! On June 12th, Outright participated in the Green Mountain Derby Dames bout. Outright got a portion of the proceeds from ticket sales, funds from the 50/50 raffle, and hosted a tug of war challenge during half time to advertise for the Fire Truck Pull. We’re excited to see what the Dames can do at the Pull on September 18th.

And speaking of the Fire Truck Pull, we already have eight teams confirmed. We’d like twenty teams, so if you’d like to participate in this hilarious fundraiser, email ella@outrightvt.org.

Outright will be busy during Pride Week. We’re hosting a Youth Zone tent at the festivities, co-hosting a Candidate Forum for the LGBTQ Community, and ending the week with Vermont Drag Idol. We’d love to see you out at these events. Be sure to say hello.
